Renanthera monachica
x sib
Renanthera species native to the Philippines, where it can be found growing epiphytically at elevations up to 1650ft./500m.
Plants are 12-24 inches at maturity and are typically considered miniature, if not simply compact.
Bloom spikes produce light orange flowers spotted in red and are long-lasting, if not sequential.
Grown from seed, so flower characteristics vary somewhat from plant to plant.
Plants Available: Single and double growth plants. An example of the Single is pictured. Orders will be filled with plants in spike and flower as blooming stock permits.
Orchid Care: In general, typical Vanda care is suitable. But plants can also be grown mounted or potted with lava rock or hydroton as shown. Protect from temperatures below 60F. Fertilize weakly, weekly.
