‘Volcano Queen’ mericlone.
Blooms in a cluster of waxy orange brown flowers overlaid with red spots. Highly fragrant. Blooms in late spring/summer.
Plants Available: Growing in 4” pots, blooming-size. Two examples of the 4” Pot option are pictured.
Orchid Care: Grow potted or mounted. We recommend potting for this hybrid. A heavy-bottomed clay pot with plenty of drainage and a large aggregate bark mix will be ideal for this plant as it matures.
Plants require bright indirect light, moderate to high humidity and strong air circulation. Water generously during active growth (spring, summer). Plants should dry between waterings. As with bifoliate Catts, repotting/mounting should be done only while plants are actively growing. Do not disturb after the newest growths have matured.
